Recently, I shared the latest top ten richest people of the world, and that created an urge within me to find about my own home country. It’s really interesting to compare the numeric figures of the richest man of the world, i.e. Carlos Slim Heli of Mexico with a wealth of $ 74 Billion with Pakistan’s wealthiest man, Mian Muhammad Mansha, who has the worth of $ 2.5 Billion!

Dewan Yousuf Farooqui is one of the biggest business tycoons of Pakistan and is the owner of The “Dewan Mushtaq Group”. These are those leading names in the politics of Pakistan, which do not need any introduction, Nawaz Sharif, who had been elected as the prime minister of Pakistan twice, and his brother Shehbaz Sharif, the current Chief Minister of Punjab, are at the 4th Position in the Top10 richest people of Pakistan. He is the Current President of Pakistan and was the Husband of Pakistan’s Former Prime minister, Benazir Bhutto (late), who’s Father, Zulfiqar Bhutto was also known for his Politics. He came into action just after the death of his Wife, and soon made himself the 2^nd richest Person of Pakistan. He has a worth of $1.8 billion. His assets hold hundred of million dollars, he has 8 prime properties in UK, he also has multi-million dollars mansion in USA, huge stakes in sugar mills all over the Pakistan.

The richest person of Pakistan is Mian Muhammad Mansha Yaha who he is a Businessman and has the worth of $2.5 billion.He has around 40 companies on board and owns Muslim Commercial Bank. Mansha’s Nishat Group is Pakistan’s largest exporter of cotton clothes (for brands like Gap) and nation’s largest private employer; also invests in power projects, cement and insurance.

If you compare my Last post on Top10 Richest people of the world with these, you will find that the real players are playing in Billions, where as Pakistan’s top Richest icons are just limited to 3 or 4 Millions. Another assuming fact is that, none of those richest icons out there are involved in politics but made their wealth on their own base. Whereas, in Pakistan, the only group that can be considered well-heeled, are somehow related to the government.
